What is Sky Pilot?

Sky Pilot is an app that streamlines the process of selling and delivering digital products on Shopify. With Sky Pilot, merchants can effortlessly sell and deliver digital files like music, videos, books, etc.

When you create a digital product with Sky Pilot, customers can enjoy immediate downloads of their purchased digital content. You can personalize the delivery page with digital content: for instance, if you’re selling access to videos, you can choose if you want to present videos’ descriptions, enable autoplay, etc.

How to Activate Sky Pilot Integration with Utterbond Subscriptions?

To set up Sky Pilot with Utterbond, ensure the following prerequisites are met before proceeding with the integration:

1. Sky Pilot is installed, and you have an active account.
2. Utterbond's Enterprise plan or higher is activated.

Once these prerequisites are satisfied, follow the steps below:

1. If you have already created the subscription plans and assigned the product to that plan. All good. If not please follow this document to create subscription plans.
2. When you create the subscription plan make sure to check you’ve added Tags for a subscription plan. Add the customer tag from there.
3. Copy the tag generated in Step 2. 
4. Open the Sky Pilot app and go to Settings > Subscriptions.
5. Locate the selling plan created in Step 1 on Utterbond and click on the Add button.
6. Paste and save the tag that you copied in Step 3.
7. On Sky Pilot, find your subscription product by clicking on the "Products" icon on the left-hand side. Attach a digital file or a video which subscribers will receive upon purchase.

Hurray! You can now go to your storefront and check your newly set up product. You can also test the whole purchase journey to verify the setup.
