Shopify Flow x Utterbond Subscriptions
Connect Utterbond with Shopify Flow to enable triggers and actions, automating tasks and processes within your store seamlessly.
Shopify Flow, built by Shopify, empowers you to create custom automation to run your business more efficiently. Flow is available exclusively to customers on Shopify's Advanced or Shopify Plus plans. Learn more about Shopify Flow here.
Integration Setup
If your shop is on Shopify's Advanced or Plus plan, ensure you've downloaded the Shopify Flow app from the Shopify App Store.
Navigate to Utterbond Subscriptions > Settings > Integrations > Shopify Flow.
Click on "Set up," enable "Connect" and then click "Save."
Integration Triggers & Actions
The following are available as triggers and actions from Utterbond within Shopify Flow:

| Subscription Activated | Trigger | This event will be triggered when the subscription is activated from paused or canceled status. |
| Subscription Billing Failure | Trigger | This Event will be triggered on billing attempt (payment) failure for a subscription contract. |
Subscription Billing Success |
Trigger | This Event will be triggered on the billing attempt (payment) success for a subscription contract. |
| Subscription Cancelled | Trigger | This Event will be triggered when a subscription is canceled. |
| Subscription Created | Trigger | Synchronization of the subscription data from Shopify. |
| Subscription Next Order Date Change | Trigger | A customer or admin has changed the date on their next subscription order in their account portal |
| Subscription Paused | Trigger | This Event will be triggered when a subscription is paused. |
| Subscription Skipped | Trigger | This Event will be triggered when a subscription is skipped. |
| Subscription Update | Trigger | This Event will be triggered when a subscription is updated. |
Setting up a Flow
To create a flow, open Shopify Flow from the Apps section in your Shopify admin, then click on "Create workflow."
Click on “Select a trigger”
In the Installed App Triggers section, you'll find Utterbond in the sidebar. Click on it to reveal the full list of triggers and actions that can be added as nodes to your workflow.
Creating a Workflow:
Example: In this example workflow, a tag is added to a customer when a subscription is activated.
